Short summary of the job: Perform maintenance work and repair of production equipment to the scope of rotating equipment services and responsible for the quality of the work.
Responsibilities:
Perform lubrication/ greasing for rotating equipments.
Perform PM, repair and troubleshoot on schedule specified in the mechanical field. Including cranes, life boats, turbomachinery, lifting gear.
Add/ replace lube oil, seal oil, gear box oil for rotating equipments.
Perform the replacement of electric motors, bearings, v-belts, pulleys, fan blade for rotating equipments.
Perform regular maintenance instrument air compressor.
Perform routine maintenance of diesel and gas engines.
Perform regular maintenance water maker.
Perform maintenance and repair of hydraulic pumps and pneumatic.
Perform replacement of all filters, silencers, lubricants for mechanical equipments.
Perform replacement (remove and installing) pumps and accessories.
Perform cleaning/ cleaning heat exchanger.
Develop SOP and JSA mechanical equipment.
Knowledge:
Have a basic knowledge of mechanical equipment, such as pumps, air compressors, diesel/ gas, gas turbine compressors and accessories.
Have knowledge of lubrication systems.
Have knowledge of safety procedures related to Mechanical offshore oil & gas industry.
Have knowledge and be able to operate the tools and mechanical tools in ways that properly and safely.
Ability to perform maintenance or repairs on pumps, compressors and gas engines/ diesel.
Have knowledge of safe work behavior.
Have a good attitude and prioritize customer satisfaction.
Ability to communicate well.
Have a minimum of passive knowledge of English both spoken and written.
Microsoft office computer skills.
Qualification:
Education: D3 Mechanical Engineering or minimum SMK Mechanical with a minimum experience of 5 (five) years working experience in mechanical oil & gas industry.
Maximum age 40 years.
Physically and mentally healthy.
Has a BSS certificate (Basic Sea Survival). Old certificate is accepted and renew will be provided by Petroturbo after passing the recruitment process.
Has a BFF (Basic Fire Fighting) Certificate.
Has a certificate SKKNI Teknisi III Perawatan Mekanik (preferable).
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Work Schedule: 11 (eleven) hours/days which includes starting work on 06:00 AM to 6:00 PM with 1 hours break for lunch or dinner. 28 (twenty-eight) days work and 28 (twenty-eight) days off for a period of work or follow company offshore rule and prepared by the on-call outside office hours/days to business needs.
Depending on the workload, personnel may be required to work overtime under Company’s approval.
Exposure to shop and field elements such as noise, dust, odors and temperature variations.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment while in shop environment or on job site.
This is a safety sensitive position.
